Chen Guoqiang currently serves as a Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Yanshan University. He is a Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and recipient of the TIA “Top Ten Design Educators” award. He also serves as Deputy Director of the Industrial Design Division of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Director of the Hebei Provincial Research Center for Industrial Design Innovation and Development, and Director of the Hebei Provincial Research Center for Design Innovation and Industrial Development (a new-type think tank). He has been recognized as a “Yanzhao Talent (Category A)” in Hebei Province and as the leader of an “Excellent Teaching Team in Hebei Province (Design Joint Core Course).” He has presided over or participated in more than 30 national and provincial-level research projects, published over 50 academic papers in SCI and other journals, authored 2 books, and holds 5 invention patents. His main research focuses on innovative design and methodology for high-end equipment.
