Tapani Hyvönen
President of Edea Design Ltd.
Tapani Hyvönen, industrial designer from the University of Art and Design Helsinki, present-day Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture.1974. He founded the design studios Destem 1996, Edea Design 1990 and Hyvonen Design 2017. From 2014 to 2019 he has been an adjunct professor in SCF, Shanghai International Collage of Fashion and Innovation, Donghua University, Shanghai and from 2014 distinguish professor in China Academy of Art, Hangzhou.
Hyvönen has been honored with National Art & Design Award of 1984, Industrial Designer of the Year award in 1991, and the Pro Finnish Design award in 1992. He has works in Design Museum Helsinki, Design Centrum Nordrhein-Westfalen and Cooper-Hewitt Museum.
