Second-level Professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Design and Art, Shaanxi University of Science & Technology. He serves as Director of the provincial research base—Research Center for Silk Road Cultural Heritage and Innovative Design—and as Head of the Provincial Industrial Design Center.

He concurrently holds positions as a council member of the Design Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Higher Education, an executive council member of the Industrial Design Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, and a member of the Fine Arts Sub-Committee of the Higher Education Teaching Steering Committee of Shaanxi Province.

He has led one Ministry of Education “New Liberal Arts” project and completed two National Social Science Fund projects in the field of arts. He has received the First Prize of the Shaanxi Provincial Philosophy and Social Science Award and three Shaanxi Provincial Teaching Achievement Awards (1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes). He has also served as a judge for the Huacan Award, China Good Design Award, and Nest Award.
