Founder and CEO of Dongdian Tech Co-founder of BEYOND Expo
Dr. Lu Gang is the founder and CEO of TechNode Group (TechNode and TN Global), a leading technology media company in Asia, and co-founder of BEYOND Expo, one of Asia’s top technology events. He holds a PhD in Wireless Communications from the University of Sheffield, UK. From 2013 to 2019, he also oversaw the China operations of the world-renowned technology media TechCrunch.
Dr. Lu is recognized as one of the most influential figures in the Asian technology sector. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to building international technology innovation ecosystems, he was awarded the Entrepreneurship Award of the British Council’s UK Outstanding Alumni Awards (China & East Asia) in 2017–2018. He is also an expert of Shanghai’s “Thousand Talents Plan” and serves as the Chairman of the Macau Science and Technology Association.
