Chen Yan
Distinguished Designer at Tencent
In 2003, Chen Yan joined Tencent as the company’s first full-time interaction designer, where she established Tencent’s design and user research systems. She led and personally took part in a decade of experience design and user research for QQ, witnessing its user base grow from millions to hundreds of millions. The products she participated in or led the design and research for include QQ Zone, QQ Games, Tencent.com, Weibo, QQ Music, Tencent Video, QQ Browser, Tencent Charity, WeChat, 99 Giving Day, Tencent Tech for Good, and Tencent Yuanbao. She is currently engaged in the evaluation, productization, and exploration of social innovation applications for the Hunyuan large model.
