Lan Yu is Director and and a professor of the Industrial Design Department at the ArtCenter College of Design (ACCD) in Los Angeles, USA. She also serves as a consultant for the Sky Limit Entertainment and smartmi. Between 2014 and 2019, she collaborated with the ArtCenter College of Design to create and host the successful "Innovation Changes" design forums in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Qingdao. She served as the Design Director and Brand Manager at Tsinghua Tongfang for nearly a decade, helping to establish successful technology-based startups. As a design consultant, she has worked with companies including Soreal Metaverse, Hero Entertainment, Bank of China, China Daily, Omnijoi Films, Xiaomi, and Google. Lan Yu holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from the ArtCenter College of Design in Los Angeles and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Product Design from Beijing Institute of Technology.
