Wang Yunhui is the Deputy Director and a researcher at the Fifth Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. She also serves as the Deputy Head of the Equipment Quality Management Technical Group and a member of the Reliability Systems Engineering Technical Group under the Equipment Development Department. Additionally, she is the rotating chairman of the Innovation and Development Committee of the China Electronics Standardization Association, a council member of the China Electronics Society (Chairman of the Reliability Branch), a member of the Expert Committee for the “Digital Government” Reform and Construction in Guangdong Province, a council member of the Guangdong Cybersecurity Industry Alliance, and the Executive Vice Chairman of the Digital Industrial Software Alliance. She has long been engaged in research on industrial software, innovation and development, quality reliability, and safety. She has participated in the formulation of quality plans for several major national projects and has led over 20 national and provincial-level projects. She has overseen the construction of significant projects and capacity-building initiatives, including the National Innovation and Development Comprehensive Support Platform, the Innovation and Development Quality Testing Platform, industrial internet, smart manufacturing security, industrial data security special projects, and information security protection platforms. She has also promoted the implementation of key initiatives such as equipment cybersecurity testing, smart device cybersecurity assessments, Guangdong Province's Digital Government Security Index, safety regulation, and resource pool construction.
