Lan Cuiqin is a doctor, professor, senior engineer with the title of professor-level salary, the current Director of Academic Committee and Dean of Graduate School of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, Chairman of the Design Standards Branch of the China Industrial Design Association, editor-in-chief of the Design magazine, Vice President of the Beijing Design Society, a special expert of Peking University's College of Engineering, and a special professor of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. She has previously served as the design director of Haier Group and the design director of the China Household Appliance Research Institute. With more than 20 years of experience in design innovation, her main focus is on design strategy and design management, as well as service design. Her academic focus is on research into design standards and design industry policies. She excels at building design public service platforms, creating design systems, formulating design strategies, and developing innovative products.
