2025 Better Design Award Beijing Promotion Conference was successfully held

On July 13th, the 2025 Better Design Award (BDA) Promotion Conference was successfully held in Beijing. Themed "A New Era of Intelligent Robots: From 'Tools' to 'Partners,'" the event attracted representatives from intelligent robotics companies, design agencies, and media to discuss new design opportunities arising from the convergence of AI and robotics.

At the conference, Chen Dongliang, Member of the 2025 Better Design Award (BDA) Advisory Committee, gave a detailed explanation of the competition's structure and application process, providing the audience with a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of BDA. He also highlighted the "Artificial Intelligence and Robotics" special competition and shared his unique insights on the development trends of intelligent robots in the new era.

Afterward, Meng Fanwei, Director of the Industrial Design Center at Roborock Technology; He Jiabin, CEO and co-founder of ROPET Pet Technologies Ltd.; Li Xiang, Brand Manager of Lingbao CASBOT; and Li Fancong, CEO and Managing Partner of LKK Design Group, delivered keynote speeches.

They delved into how design is reshaping the role of robots, focusing on the evolution of home service robots, machine aesthetics, embodied intelligent robots, and AI-driven new product categories, drawing applause from the audience.

In the subsequent "Design Thinking X Human-Robot Interaction" robotics industry dialogue session, hosted by Li Yanbo, founder and CEO of Beijing Trustfuture Technology Co., Ltd., the guests conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as "the integration of robot partners into the human-robot relationship in daily life" and called for the dual-track implementation of systematic thinking and humanistic laws and regulations to promote the healthy development of "human-robot symbiosis."

Every innovation is potentially crucial to driving industry development, and every outstanding design product deserves recognition. This year's Better Design Award, featuring the "Artificial Intelligence and Robotics" competition, welcomes creative designs from around the world with an open attitude, aiming to empower high-quality industrial development through design innovation.
