On June 24, 2025, the promotion conference for the Better Design Award (BDA) was successfully held in Seoul, South Korea. The event brought together over 400 industry professionals, including corporate design leaders, institutional representatives, professors, and designers.

Its design industry not only supports the global expansion of local brands but also serves as a vital bridge between Asian design and the international market. The successful launch of this promotional event in Korea underscores the global vision of the Better Design Award.
At the event, Mr. Kim Sang-hoon, former Director of the NetEase Yanxuan Design Center, delivered an in-depth presentation on the highlights of the competition. Drawing on his extensive experience in design management, Mr. Kim provided a detailed interpretation of the competition's structure, judging mechanism, and industrial value, which garnered widespread attention.
In addition, the event featured expert insights from Mr. Lim Ji-dong, Advisory Member of the LG Electronics CX Center, and Mr. Hong Sung-joon, Chief Design Officer of Bank Salad. These senior professionals shared innovative case studies focused on user experience and the application of artificial intelligence, offering fresh interdisciplinary perspectives.
Notably, the 2025 Better Design Award includes a special category for “Artificial Intelligence and Robotics,” aiming to spotlight the deep integration of advanced technology and design, and to explore the transformative power of technology-driven innovation.
